Youth Launch New Website

Our active youth fellowship has announced the launch of their own website where they will share news and information about what's happening with their new organization. The site looks great, and you are invited to visit regularly to learn more about what's going on with our young people. The Website Administrator is Andrew McCormick. If you would like to request that a friend or family member be added to our prayer chain, the bulletin prayer list, or if you would like Rev. Jones to be aware of a special prayer request, you may now do so using our new online form as well as through the prayer cards available in the pews on Sunday. To request a prayer online simply click on the PRAYER REQUEST button in the main menu above.

Worship With Us Sundays at 8:30 and 11:00 AM

Our 8:30 AM traditional service features special music. Holy Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of the month
Our 11:00 AM traditional service features our Chancel Choir. Holy Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of the month
Our 7:00 PM WOW (Worship on Wednesday) service is an informal service using contemporary songs and praise choruses each Wednesday

We Are Handicapped Accessible & Provide Hearing Assistance

We are handicapped accessible with wheelchair ramps from our parking lot. An elevator will provide access to all levels of the church and accessible restrooms. Assistive Listening devices are available to the hearing impaired upon request. Please ask any usher for assistance.

Happening Now at La Plata UMC


By popular demand Pastor Jones has planned another Top-10 Sermon Series. This summer's series is "The Top Ten Sayings of Jesus.” The series will begin on June 3 and end on August 19, just before our annual Hymn Sing which will be August 26.	The next class in the Monday Night series is based on the book "Prayer, Does it Make a Difference?" Bob Kells will lead this class which will be held April 2 - June 30.
