Welcome to your church home

We sincerely hope that we can be of service to you in your journey of faith.  We are a warm, caring congregation with a long history of service to the Southern Maryland Community.

The Discipleship Adventure is important to who we are and how we are organized.  We invite you to join us in the exhilarating and life-giving adventure.

We encourage you to explore our website to discover all that we have to offer, and we hope to see you at worship on Sunday morning.

Christmas Cantata Dec. 17

The Chancel Choir has been rehearsing and preparing a brand new Christmas Cantata to be presented on Sunday, December 17, at the 11:00 AM Service. The cantata, “Holy Night of Miracles” consists of eight pieces with narration. Please invite your friends and neighbors to join you in worship for this unique expression of Christmas, through music.

‍‍‍Award Banquet Set

‍‍Our Third Annual Congregation Awards Banquet will be held on Saturday evening, January 27, 2018 at 7:00 PM. It will be a wonderful dinner with fabulous decorations. We have this dinner each year to say “thank you” to all the volunteers of our church. Every person who gives of their time deserves our recognition and thanks. We will again present 9 awards to volunteers who have gone above and beyond normal service to our church. We will also recognize one staff member who has contributed exceptional leadership and effort to the ministries of our church.

Watch for more information coming soon.

This Sunday

Come to the Café Service at 8:30 AM in Fellowship Hall 2, if you would like to hear the third installment of Pastor Bruce’s Advent-Christmas Sermon Series. He will only be preaching at the 8:30 service this week, and then again on Wednesday at the M&M service at 7:00 PM.

‍‍‍At the 11:00 Traditional Service, our Chancel Choir, will present a brand new cantata for the congregation to enjoy. The cantata, “Holy Night of Miracles” is written by Lloyd Larson and consists of eight pieces with narration. Please invite your friends and neighbors to join you in wors‍‍‍hip for this unique expression of Christmas, through music.
