Please join us in welcoming our new Youth Leader, Corrie Roberts who will be working with our young people in their teens. A new Youth Fellowship will be forming in January. With retreats, service projects, times of fun and meaningful discussion, the group will help shape the thinking and world view of young people as they move toward adulthood.

The UMW will be selling their cookbooks in the entry area on Sundays for that special Valentines gift to a sister, grandmother, mother or anyone who loves to cook. In celebration of Valentines Day, the cookbook will be packaged in a gift bag with tissue paper ready to give.
Planning for the Future of Our Church

The image above provides a good representation of the layout and look of the new building extensions as they are currently being conceived. We have completed the first phase of planning by determining how much we can build on our site, and what basic areas we need to provide for. We are hoping to extend the education wing and have a larger fellowship hall added to the end of that wing. The playground for the Blessed Lambs Preschool would be safely tucked in between the end of the education wing and the end of the fellowship hall wing. We are also planning a chapel to join the two new wings.
The image below is a Preliminary Site Plan that has been developed by our architect, Ronald L. Litten & Associates of La Plata, to give us a better understanding of our options for expansion of our church facilities. The next phase will help us determine the specifics of interior spaces. We will also work to align our plans with the wishes of the State Highway Administration, the Planning & Design Review Board of the Town of La Plata, along with the Fire Marshal, and Health Department. We will also be working with engineers to determine the structural and mechanical systems we will need. Finally, we should have a good idea of what the project will cost when this phase is complete. Then the congregation will determine how they want to proceed. As planning progresses on our expansion this page will serve as a means of communicating with the congregation.
