Please join us in welcoming our new Youth Leader, Corrie Roberts who will be working with our young people in their teens. A new Youth Fellowship will be forming in January. With retreats, service projects, times of fun and meaningful discussion, the group will help shape the thinking and world view of young people as they move toward adulthood.

The UMW will be selling their cookbooks in the entry area on Sundays for that special Valentines gift to a sister, grandmother, mother or anyone who loves to cook. In celebration of Valentines Day, the cookbook will be packaged in a gift bag with tissue paper ready to give.

- Our 7:00 PM WOW (Worship on Wednesday) service is an informal service using contemporary songs and praise choruses each Wednesday

Happening Now at La Plata UMC

| Have you had things happen in your life that you cannot explain? Good things and bad things? Have you wondered why? On four Sundays in January Rev Jones will be sharing a series of messages trying to answer that age-old question. You are invited to join us for worship in January to hear these messages. |
 The next class in Rev. Jones' Monday Night
series is based on the book "WHY" by Pastor Adam Hamilton, and is entitled "WHY? Making Sense of God's Will".
This is a four week course, and each student will get a copy of the book.
