Welcome to your church home

We sincerely hope that we can be of service to you in your journey of faith.   We are a warm, caring congregation with a long history of service to the Southern Maryland Community.

The Discipleship Adventure is important to who we are and how we are organized.  We invite you to join us in the exhilarating and life-giving adventure.

We encourage you to explore our website to discover all that we have to offer, and we hope to see you at worship on Sunday morning.

“Worshiping and growing in fellowship & knowledge of Christ. Maturing from membership to discipleship: for us, others, and for Jesus’ sake.”

Ever Wonder...

Be sure to check out our newest feature: "Ever Wonder..."  It is a place where common questions about our faith and the workings of the church are explained in video and text.  Videos are courtesy of "Chuck Knows Church".  Check them out on our Guests & Newcomer's Page.

Please call the church office to schedule a time to deliver your items.

Live Nativity - Be a Part

The Charles County Fair will be hosting it's annual Kris Kringle Market December 7 - 9 at the fairgrounds.  Each year our church working with the Port Tobacco Theater creates a Live Nativity scene throughout the weekend.  We need you and your family to be a part of this experience.  Click on the image below for more.

Trunk N Treat

‍‍ ‍‍‍Please plan to be a part of our annual Trunk N Treat this year! On Sunday, October 28, we will circle up in the parking lot to pass out goodies. In the past, this has been a fantastic combination of our church, community and scouts coming together for an evening of fun and fellowship. Participants are encouraged to decorate trunks, but that is not necessary. Arrive at 5:00 PM for set up so we are ready for trunk n treaters from 5:30 - 7:00 PM. Plan for about 150 kids. Invite your neighbors to join in the fun!

‍‍‍Children's Sabbath

The second Sunday of October is always celebrated as “Children’s Sabbath” at our church. The whole day will be highlighted by the inclusion of children in worship, and helping to lead the service. Children will be the liturgists, the ushers, and the focus of our service. Our Cherub Choir is looking forward to this being their fall debut performance. It is also the Sunday we have traditionally presented our second graders with their own personalized Bibles. Please plan to have your children in church with us this Sunday.
